In 2005, red espresso® was born, forever changing café menus and creating a new choice for customers that wasn’t there before. Driven by our passion for innovation, we created the world’s first Rooibos espresso—a bold, naturally caffeine-free espresso shot rich in antioxidants made from the Aspalathus linearis plant (Rooibos), native to South Africa. This espresso became the foundation for our award-winning red cappuccino®. Crafted like coffee but without the caffeine, it quickly established itself as the perfect alternative to coffee.
