I use it in a variety of ways – from my smoothies to baking to lattes. I also take it with me when working on a film set or in theatre. It helps me to steer clear of drinking an unnecessary amount of coffee and keeps me feeling healthy whilst working long hours.

At first, I was not a fan of Matcha, but now I am totally into it. It has a potent, energising taste to it!

This is definitely an acquired taste but I will say that once you do fall in love with it (and you will) it’s absolutely awesome. I must also say that its a great alternative to coffee if you’re trying to quit as it’ll keep you energised without the worrying addiction some might experience.

I received my matcha a little while ago and had to try the matcha cappuccino. I read hot water and was guessing that it should not be boiling water so waited for my freshly boiled water to cool a little. Unfortunately I couldn’t completely mix the powder into the water and had little speckles of the powder floating in my drink after I poured my frothy milk into it. The taste was great. I will try with hotter water next time just to make sure that I get the powder mixed in properly. It has a strong enough taste and subtle sweetness that is just enough for people who opt for sugar free drinks.

I will not lie, this is definitely an acquired taste but if you are a green tea lover, like me, then you have to try this Matcha Latte. It has the bitterness that you expect to get from Matcha but has just enough sweetness to not make you pull a face lol! It also contains caffeine so it is a great alternative to your coffee boost in the morning.

Picked up my matcha package and the service was amazing, the best. Also got a few extra samples to try and now I have to buy the vanilla chai latte.
